On June 3rd, the SpaceCoffee Aviation team started their day exceptionally early, at 4 a.m., by taking a train to Rzeszów University of Technology. Their goal: to compete (and win!) in the semifinals of the Learn&Fly competition. Once there, all participants were evaluated by a jury. With their glider model ready, the SpaceCoffee team described their design and construction work during a presentation session. Then came the competition portion, in which the teams took turns throwing their aircraft, demonstrating the ranges of their gliders in practice.

The weather certainly didn't help with the high scores, but SC Aviation finished fifth in the throwing competition. The paper-covered glider model sustained damage in the rain, which caught the competitors off guard, but it survived until the end of the competition.

The results were announced at 4:00 PM, concluding the semifinals, where SC Aviation took sixth place. After such a long day in Rzeszów, the team, tired but satisfied and motivated, returned home with their heads full of ideas and improvements for next year's edition.
