A team composed of members of the Association decided to take on the challenge of building a glider to be entered in the “Learn&Fly” design and engineering competition.

They will have to design and then build a glider that, after a mechanical launch, will fly as far as possible. The competition is organized by the Education Support Foundation together with the Dolina Lotnicza Association, which provides attractive cash prizes for the highest-scoring teams. This is the first project of this type that the members of the Club will work on, and the design process will be focused in particular on developing the participants' interests in aviation and model making. The SC glider project team is determined to meet the challenge in the best possible way.
