On April 9, 2026, members of the SpaceCoffee Student Scientific Assosciation attended the GameMusicFest.LAB event held at the Keywords Studios headquarters in Katowice. The company is a partner of Game Music Fest, and it was there that the workshop portion of this year’s GMF celebrations took place. The event was open to the public.

A three-person delegation from SpaceCoffee traveled to Katowice; the members were eager to learn more about the current state of the game development industry, the challenges, and the opportunities associated with entering the game development and design market. During the meeting, there was also a brief exhibition showcasing the activities of the Silesian University of Technology’s Student Scientific Assosciations in the field of video games and VR, as well as an exhibition of games created by students from the University of Silesia, another GMF partner.

The workshop marked the start of a four-day series of events and activities that make up Game Music Fest. Participants can look forward to three upcoming days of concerts, to be held at the Silesian Planetarium, Spodek in Katowice, and the Silesian Philharmonic, respectively.
