Project-Based Learning

SKN SpaceCoffee runs many smaller projects as part of the Project-Based Learning program currently implemented at the Silesian University of Technology, which enables both high school and university students to participate in scientific projects on various topics and related to different sciences — this gives them the opportunity to try out different types of research activities during implementation.

Goals

The topics of PBL projects are very diverse. Many of them use new technologies that are still being actively improved, such as VR systems, while others require greater design and engineering skills. In this way, the members of the Association contribute to the research in many fields, some of which are still rarely visited, and form innovative solutions to challenges which sometimes even result in their first scientific publications!
