This is the second part of the BCI (Brain-Computer Interface) keyboard project that a group of three of SpaceCoffee members worked on in the previous two semesters. This time, their focus was on studying user experiences – they developed a set of seven interfaces for their application, which they tested for comfort, intuitiveness and speed of use. A group of ten volunteers completed the tests on all of the interfaces using the NextMind device, while their statistics were being automatically gathered by the program. At the end, they shared their personal experiences with different layouts of the numeric keyboard.
The study concluded the gathered results and user opinions, summarizing them in a poster prepared for “Projekt Politechnika” Conference. View post here
