A team of our members has decided to set out on the challenge of creating a glider, with the goal of fielding it at the “Learn&Fly” construction and engineering competition.

What they’ll need to do is design and then construct the glider for it to reach the furthest possible distance after a mechanical launch. The contest is organized by the Fundacja Wspierania Edukacji with Stowarzyszenie Dolina Lotnicza, who provide attractive cash prizes for the highest-scoring teams. It is the first project of this type the Club’s members will work on, with the design process specifically oriented on aviation. The SC glider team is eager and determined to do their best facing the challenge.
