Improvements achieved
During this year's work on the rover, we implemented an impressive number of planned features and components. Our work focused on:
— Completion of the design of an integrated circuit on a PCB board.
— Modernization of our rover's chassis, based on conclusions drawn from tests of the previous module. The chassis currently in use is designed for the construction of a full-size structure.
— Designing, manufacturing components, installing, and upgrading our rover's manipulator, in parallel with the chassis. The manipulator arm weighs 1.9 kg and can lift objects weighing up to 1 kg. It has a range of motion of up to 180 degrees in each of its four degrees of freedom. This is already the sixth functional iteration of the manipulator.
