On the first weekend of October, a team of six SC members traveled to Stalowa Wola to participate in NASA's largest hackathon on space industry topics. Their goal was to complete a challenge based on one of the topics published by NASA: “Beyond Sunlight: An Aquatic Chemosynthetic World.” In the course of implementing their idea, they created a game entirely on their own, which is an interactive visualization of alien life that could exist on Europa, one of Jupiter's moons.

After thousands of ideas, liters of coffee and tea, and 30 hours of work, they completed their project, satisfied with their achievements. Of course, the game is not fully finished—the SpaceCoffee team is motivated to continue working on it after the event. The Space Apps Challenge is a unique experience that SC participants loved, sharing their fascination with space exploration and interest in space technologies.
