Students' Scientific Association SpaceCoffee
About Us
SpaceCoffee is a Students' Scientific Association operating at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. The main areas of activity of the club are electronics, robotics, and computer science, but it brings together enthusiasts of various STEAM subjects. The topics of the projects on which the association works mainly concern the construction of autonomous vehicles, such as autonomous airships, mini-probes for planetary research, and exploratory space rovers. SpaceCoffee members often participate in national and international competitions, conferences, science fairs, hackathons, and academic events at the Silesian University of Technology.
Among the goals of the Association is the promotion of education in the fields of computer science and electronics. However, SpaceCoffee is primarily concerned about continuous learning and development—as a Students' Scientific Association, we are open to new members and their interesting project ideas, as well as new initiatives and partnerships. On an individual level, participation in the Association gives its members the opportunity to improve and practice their skills, as well as helping them develop new abilities and interests while working on projects.
